Community Leadership Summit X at LCA (CLSxLCA)

Organised by Cherie Ellis

Monday, 22 January 2018

The Community Leadership Summit X is an outreach event spun out of the annual Community Leadership Summit run by Jono Bacon and held prior to OSCON. It brings together community leaders, organizers and managers of projects and organizations that are interested in growing and empowering a strong community.

This miniconf is an unconference. Topics for discussion are determined on the day, by the people in the room. It's a mixture of large and small group discussion, with opportunity for personal reflection and report backs.

A link to the collaborative wiki being used for this event can be found here.

Community Leadership Summits have taken off as an opportunity for Community Leaders to get together in an unconference format and discuss how they can work together to improve their community. Past CLSx events at LCA have been successful with many members of the OS community discussing issues and potential resolutions over the course of the day.

This would be the 4th CSLx at LCA and I would like to build on that success; getting together as many people in the community as possible, and from every aspect of the community, to discuss ideas and issues facing the community today.
